This whole week's been amazing. Lee took a couple of personal days off and we had a great time together. I'm really happy that we decided to get together. If only we had more time-- I keep thinking. But, at least I'll leave Washington on a very happy note.
Tuesday I met up with my recruiter for my 15-day-prior meeting. Of course I was really late, and I had no excuse other than the fact I knew I couldn't have made it at 4:00 sharp. Kids don't even get off the bus until 15:30ish. He asked me what time I wanted to leave on Sunday, and then it hit me: I have to be in Seattle for two days prior to leaving. The days Lee was going to take off to spend time with me are now officially a waste of his saved leave days. But, at least we'll have the weekend together. Friday the 13th is our housewarming party, so it'll be a great way to celebrate my last days here. I still have to pack and clean out my room, and pick up the odds and ends I'll need for basic (a.k.a shower shoes and a tooth-brush holder)
In other news, I think I'm becoming a juggalo(juggalette). Not because of Lee, but because I actually like the music. Yeah, yeah, a lot of the fans are fucking retarded white kids that no one in school liked, but I do it for the fact I'd have no problem wearing the hatchetman with pride. I've never been a "true fan" of any artist, and don't think I'm going to join a gang and beat people up, but I'd at least like to enjoy a niche I oddly enough fit into. At least you'll all have something to giggle about when I try and preach about the Dark Carnival being a synonymous with God and Christianity.
Also: Check out Atmosphere for some amazing music. It's hip-hop liquid sunshine.
So, maybe I'm just going nuts from being a full-time nanny and a part-time human. Maybe it's that I still can't believe that I ship out next week. I'm happy is all that I can say-- in a less needy more fulfilling way.
The dog's still pink, and I took the subaru on it's longest journey yet (Sedro-Wooley to Job Corps.)
Later, everyone.

I can't believe things turned out this way.
And though I hate to see you go,
I know it must be so.
Another lonely Valentine's Day.
The dream is dead."

This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends

Once we know the number one, we believe that we know the number two, because one plus one equals two. We forget that first we must know the meaning of plus. ~Alphaville
